Lizzy- Today was Gracie's first day of Preschool. Very mixed emotions. I am happy that she gets this social learning time and that I get time with Jack alone. Both of us need this! But I can't deny I got a little misty eyed as I watched her walk in. Her school is in my neighborhood a little further than my moms but still I could not justify to drive. Its so nice with the September mornings. A bit cold so we bundled up but as long as I can we will still walk. I was at Sam's again buying Jacks food and saw all the decorations sitting out. This is my favorite time of year and it will be very hard not to buy any. I always buy decorations for each holiday so when I see something that would strike me I will have to mark it down as saved because its a total given that I would have bought it. But for today we cleaned the house and pulled out the Fall bin. It was fun having Gracie help pull out all the decorations we have and she remembers them from last year. Jack of course got into everything too and was loving the new "toys". Will have to keep everything off the floors this year:)Ryan - I packed PB sandwiches today, because I forgot to cook my pasta the night before. Left early for work today so I could drop off the library books and avoid a late fee and deposit some checks so they would cover some bills Lizzy paid. So I didn't get to wish an "awake" Gracie my blessings for preschool. I would have been great to see her. I got home and Lizzy had the Halloween decorations out already! Unbelievable. It's barely September. But I admit it's fun to see the house take a change.
Worked at Chad's to payback some tradeout he's done for me. So I guess we can mark that down as a savings of $60-70 for labor.
