It was free to get in and we brought our own snacks and water. After touring around the farm we saw the tractor rides taking off right in front of us. Gracie BEGGED me to go for a ride. I asked the price and they said $2 (so $4 total since Jack would be free) . It killed me to say no...its so cheap and would have been so fun. However I stuck to my guns and tried to distract her by suggesting we feed the ducks. She got excited about that so it worked out. But it wasn't Gracie that was disappointed it was me. I really wanted to ride it. It would have made a great ending to our trip. Oh well. I had fun watching Gracie freak out when the geese started chasing her for the crackers lol!!
There was also another close call purchase. A friend of ours is in a local play and we missed her last one (sorry:) So when she told me about it I instantly wanted to say "Sure we will be there" But caught myself.
The tickets were $12pp Its those moments I hate and will be hard, not only did we want to go and enjoy a night out but we also wanted to support her. She understood and I hope next year she will take on more plays:) We only have 11 more months to go:)
Ryan -It would have been great to go to Wheeler with the family. Lizzy is really doing a great job on finding creative activities for herself and the kids. I think she has the greatest challenge with the kids.
